Safety Spotlight: Celebrating Our Team’s Commitment to Safety

ree

At RAE, safety isn’t just a rule — it’s part of our culture. Each month, The Pack recognizes outstanding team members who go above and beyond to keep their coworkers safe and their departments running strong.

Tyler Griggs is receiving a $100 award for exercising his Stop Work Authority to shut down a saw until it could be repaired. While this temporarily reduced his department’s output, Tyler made the right call by prioritizing the safety of his team.

“Great job demonstrating what safety leadership looks like!”

Eight more team members are being recognized for their commitment to working safely. Each received positive Safety Tickets from members of the Leadership and Safety Teams — and a $25 award for their efforts.

Recognized Team Members:

  • David Busch

  • Chassey Mefford

  • Michael Cline

  • Charlie Brogner

  • Stephanie Hall

  • Dave Harris

  • Jerry Brooks

  • Aden Stubblefield

Congratulations to each of you for helping make RAE a safer place to work every day!

Our shelter-in-place drills, conducted on Sept. 30 and Oct. 3, were a major success! Each area reached their shelter within 3 to 7 minutes, helping us identify opportunities for improvement in communication and available space.

Reminder: “Shelter-in-place” means staying in your current location or building until a danger has passed.

Thank you to everyone for your cooperation and commitment to Safety!
