ISO 9001 Documentation Audit Successfully Completed

January 23rd marked a major milestone for RAE Corporation. We officially passed our first round of ISO 9001 documentation audits — a significant achievement that reflects months of focused effort, process refinement, and cross-department collaboration.

This milestone is not just about compliance. It represents a strengthened

operational foundation and a company-wide commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results.

ISO 9001 certification is built around documented processes, accountability, and continuous improvement. Passing the documentation audit confirms that:

  • Our procedures are clearly defined

  • Our documentation is structured and accessible

  • Our quality systems are aligned with ISO standards

  • Our teams are operating within documented best practices

This is a reflection of the dedication each department has invested over the past year. Every team contributed to this progress.

The next phase in the certification process is the external process audit, scheduled to take place at RAE from March 3rd through March 6th.

During this time, external auditors will observe daily operations and meet with various departments to verify that what is documented is consistently practiced.

This phase focuses on:

  • Real-time process execution

  • Employee understanding of documented procedures

  • Accessibility of records and documentation

  • Operational consistency

All departments should ensure their teams are audit-ready by March 2nd.

Preparation includes:

  • Confirming processes are being followed as documented

  • Ensuring documentation and records are accessible

  • Verifying employees understand the processes relevant to their roles

If additional support or training is needed before the audit, teams are encouraged to connect with Brent Henning or Macy Kindle.

The goal is to make this a smooth and confident experience for everyone involved.

Reaching this stage is a major accomplishment. ISO certification will strengthen how we operate, improve consistency and quality across the organization, and reinforce confidence with our customers and partners.

Most importantly, it reflects the commitment each of you brings to delivering quality work every day.

Thank you to every department and every individual who contributed to this milestone.

Let’s finish strong.
