After more than four decades of service, we proudly honor the retirement of a true cornerstone of RAE Corporation—Jim Guyot. Since October 15, 1984, Jim has dedicated his career to driving engineering excellence, embodying the values of craftsmanship, quiet leadership, and unwavering dependability.
Jim began his journey with RAE when the company was just a little over a decade old. Over the next 40 years, he became an integral part of our growth story—steadily guiding projects, mentoring peers, and helping shape the strong engineering foundation we stand on today.
While Jim never sought the spotlight, his work spoke volumes. Known for letting results do the talking, Jim’s contributions resonated through nearly every department. Whether he was untangling complex design challenges or ensuring every detail met his high standards, Jim brought a level of focus and finesse that earned him deep respect from those around him.
His fingerprints can be found on countless innovations, product launches, and moments of critical problem-solving. Behind the scenes, Jim was often the calm in the chaos, bringing clarity and consistency to even the most challenging of projects. His legacy is not only in what he built but in how he built it—with patience, humility, and relentless attention to detail.
As Jim enters retirement, we do so with immense gratitude for his 40+ years of service—years filled with loyalty, precision, and quiet impact. His contributions have not only shaped the past and present of RAE but will continue to influence our future for generations to come.
Congratulations, Jim. Thank you for everything you've given RAE. You’ll always be part of our story!
