The Evolution of Supply Chain: A New Chapter Under Engineering

At RAE Corporation, continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration remain at the heart of how we grow and serve our customers. As our operations continue to evolve, we are excited to announce an organizational update designed to strengthen alignment, execution, and long-term success.

Effective immediately, Supply Chain Management will now operate under the Engineering organization.

As part of this transition, David Chaney, Director of Supply Chain Management, will now report directly to Kyle Bowling, Director of Engineering.

By bringing Supply Chain and Engineering closer together, we are creating stronger collaboration between teams that play a critical role in product development, manufacturing efficiency, and operational execution.

“This change is intended to ensure the Supply Chain team has the leadership capacity, focus, and support needed to successfully execute on its priorities. As our initiatives continue to grow in scope and importance, this adjustment allows for more dedicated oversight and engagement.

We believe this is a positive step that will strengthen the team’s ability to deliver results and continue building momentum across the organization.

I’m looking forward to the impact of increased efficiency this new alignment will bring to us. Thank you to David and everyone making a difference as we continue moving forward together!”

— Damon Swank, VP

This organizational evolution represents more than a reporting change, it’s an investment in stronger operational alignment and future growth.

We appreciate the leadership and dedication David Chaney and Kyle Bowling continue to bring to their teams, and we look forward to the positive impact this increased collaboration will have across the organization.
