We are excited to share some important updates within our Coil team!
Tommy Ray has accepted the position of Coil Operations Manager here at RAE Corporation, effective immediately.
Tommy’s journey at RAE has been a remarkable story of growth and dedication. He first got his start with the company back in 2016, coming on board as a Project Engineer. In 2019, he transitioned his talents into Research and Development, and most recently in 2023, he was chosen to lead the Coil Engineering group. In this new expanded role, Tommy will now be overseeing Coil Engineering, Coil Production and Coil Continuous Improvement.
Tommy graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Outside of work, Tommy loves to be around his family. He lives in his hometown of Oologah with his wife, Hayley, and their two young daughters, Madelyn (2 years) and Chloe (4 months). While a toddler and a newborn certainly keep life lively, they wouldn't trade it for anything! In his spare time, Tommy loves to exercise and work on his golf game—so keep an eye out for him if you ever visit the Pryor golf course.
What Tommy enjoys most about his work is the complex puzzle of problem-solving, where finding the exact piece that fits is incredibly rewarding. He looks forward to helping his team find that same fulfillment. Tommy has set a clear goal for Coil Operations to be the standard of manufacturing at RAE, leading a group that shows up with a great attitude day after day to deliver the best product, on time, without question.
